What if..’ is an open question that challenges and provokes to radically shake-up the status quo within the spectrum of Tech, Education and Design, thereby enabling the development of actions worth doing and ideas worth spreading. Examples of such questions are ‘What if..the concept of money were wiped out?’ or ‘What if.. we shifted the concept of education?’
These are very exiting topics and our speakers will be providing such visions, actions and ideas during TEDxAruba 2016.

What's In It For Entrepeneurs? 10 REASONS YOU SHOULD ATTEND
With so many great ways to learn nowadays; blogs, podcasts, how-to videos on YouTube, etc. – why should you take the time to attend TEDxAruba on September 23rd? Live events such as TEDxAruba provide a unique learning experience, career building and innovative business development opportunities for you – or your employees – that you just can’t find anywhere else. Below you will find 10 reasons why should attend (Swipe right to left on images below).
1. Sharpen the Saw
Stephen Covey lists this as the seventh habit of highly effective people. The idea is that sometimes you have to take a break from the “work” of your work to sharpen your skills. A dull axe won’t cut a tree nearly as effectively as a sharp one.
What if you return from TEDxAruba with new ideas and approaches that make you more effective and efficient at work? This actually is not a What if-question anymore, it will happen!
2. Meet Speakers, Experts, & Influencers
While not all events offer you the opportunity to meet your business idols, your chances are greatly improved when you’re sharing the same space at Cas di Cultura. Sometimes it’s about sharing a business idea with someone who’s brain you wanna pick or taking a selfie with someone who’s influenced you.
What if you get a few minutes with one of our speakers and ask feedback on an idea for a new business venture you’re planning to launch?
3. Unique Networking & Event App
TEDxAruba gives you opportunities to mix and mingle, form new relationships, and strengthen existing ones - over coffee, lunch, or cocktails, or through the TEDxAruba App. TEDxAruba will be organizing live-viewing events at (Dutch) embassies, OCT (overseas countries and Territories) and Universities all around the World. This means literally tens of thousands of people will be watching TEDxAruba worldwide at the same time and using the same app, so you can connect with them right away and find the best people for your business.
4. New Tools
Our partners will be displaying new tools you might not have seen before. Apps and products that are faster, innovative, less prone to costly mistakes.
What if you can get a hands-on demonstration - or be able to ask questions that are specific to your business objectives directly to the speaker of companies attending TEDxAruba?
5. Break Out of Your Comfort Zone
This year’s theme ‘What if’ will challenge you to break out of your comfort zone which is just the type of action you need to take to break out of old ways of thinking that have gotten you in a rut in your business.
What if TEDxAruba can provide you with great idea’s worth spreading and actions worth doing? This is exactly what TEDxAruba stands for!
6. New Tips & Tactics
The problem with the web is we believe that everything is at our fingertips. And maybe it is. But it’s an overwhelming amount of data that we often can’t crack, or keeps us from the best material. TEDxAruba can help curate new ideas to help you improve your approach. During this event you will learn about actions worth doing and ideas worth spreading from ‘the horse’s mouth’. And these are all memorable talks.
What if TEDxAruba helps you cut through the clutter of all online information to deliver the best content for you possible?
7. Greater Focus
The flip side of learning new things is relearning classic techniques - such as last year's speaker Jan Ten Hove explaining how bbsolute clarity about a team goal gives focus and success - or, learning about new views and new ways to go about doing things, such as Arnaud Collery's talk about how creating 'Happiness' adds value in any business environment.
What if one of this year’s speakers will help you take your business to the next level?
8. The Energy of Like-Minded Individuals
There’s nothing like being in a room of like-minded people. Other people who are willing to take time away from the office to learn something new. People who want to “better” themselves. At TEDxAruba you discover that you’re not alone in wanting to improve your skills and bring something back to your office or organization.
What if you strengthen your network at TEDxAruba to take your business to the next level?
9. Invest In Yourself
Perhaps this one is self-evident. Or perhaps we’ve already covered it in whole or in part above. But leaving the office and “sharpening the saw” is investing in yourself. It’s admitting that you’re worth it. It’s admitting that you still have things to learn. That you can get better. It’s an investment in yourself, your career, and your company.
What if you invest in your own growth?
10. Have Fun!
We’re not sure this is the most important of all these reasons, but we didn’t want to leave it off the list. TEDxAruba is fun! We take pride into putting together a spectacular event with inspiring talks AND great entertainment. You will be witness to an inspiring program with amazing speakers, moving talks and an ingniting entertainment program provided by Levi Sylvani and his band.
What if you’ll only experience positive vibrations?
